Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Master of Business Administration or MBA is a two-year postgraduate management course that deals with administering human resources, finance, marketing, sales and customer services. The goal of this course is to produce trained professionals for effective management in this entrepreneurial world. The emphasis is on critical thinking and experiential learning. Students aspiring to study in this programme are expected to be highly self motivated individuals with a clear focus and performance orientation.
MBA graduates have diverse job opportunities in the airline, fashion, marketing, educational and information technology sectors.
The institute offers three specializations in this course:
Duration -2 Years
Eligibility Passed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
Eligibility
Human Resource Management OR Passed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted..
Carriculum
The four-year programme of Bachelor of Technology consists of 8 semesters. The first two semesters are generally common to all branches and deal with fundamental courses like Applied Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, Workshop Practices, etc. The students get specialized courses according to their choice of branches from the 3" semester onwards. During 7h and 8" semester they are required to undertake project work.
Career Opportunities after B. Tech.
Students have gamut of career options after completing B Tech. The ever-growing world of technology awaits them with open arms e.g. Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Software Development and Testing, Integrated Electronics, Computer Aided Design etc. Technological advances are incomplete without the aid of marketing, sales and operation management etc. These supporting activities also offer jobs to engineering students. And of course, the enlightening path to knowledge is always open. Engineering graduates may opt to pursue M Tech, MBA or MS.
Process of Admission.
The students area required to appear at the Admission Test conducted in the campus of institute. The from for Admission Test is available in the college and may be obtained on all working days after paying the requiste fee.
