Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Engineering is a professional undergraduate degree program that provides students with a strong foundation in various engineering disciplines. It typically spans over four years and equips students with theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and hands-on experience required to pursue a career in engineering.
The curriculum of a B.Tech program usually includes a combination of core engineering courses, elective courses, laboratory work, and projects. Core courses cover fundamental subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering mechanics, while elective courses allow students to specialize in specific branches of engineering such as civil, mechanical, electrical, computer science, and chemical engineering, among others.
One of the distinguishing features of a B.Tech program is its emphasis on practical learning. Students engage in laboratory experiments, workshops, and projects that enable them to apply theoretical concepts to real-world problems. These practical experiences not only reinforce classroom learning but also foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/Chemistr/Computer Science/ Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/ Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the following subjects taken together.
The four-year programme of Bachelor of Technology consists of 8 semesters. The first two semesters are generally common to all branches and deal with fundamental courses like Applied Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, Workshop Practices, etc. The students get specialized courses according to their choice of branches from the 3" semester onwards. During 7h and 8" semester they are required to undertake project work.
Students have gamut of career options after completing B Tech. The ever-growing world of technology awaits them with open arms e.g. Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Software Development and Testing, Integrated Electronics, Computer Aided Design etc. Technological advances are incomplete without the aid of marketing, sales and operation management etc. These supporting activities also offer jobs to engineering students. And of course, the enlightening path to knowledge is always open. Engineering graduates may opt to pursue M Tech, MBA or MS.
The students area required to appear at the Admission Test conducted in the campus of institute. The from for Admission Test is available in the college and may be obtained on all working days after paying the requiste fee.
